The primary function of proprioception is to control muscle tone.
Poor reactive muscle tone is the major cause of injury or failure to heal from injury.
Pain is always associated with weakness.
Most weakness is not caused by a lack of exercise.
Find and remove the cause of the weakness and you will fix the pain.
