Your intuition communicates memories to grab your attention regarding someone or something. Memories are recollections of the past experienced as an observer or a participant. Like a supercomputer, your intuition retrieves remembered, forgotten, and suppressed memories from your soul’s archives and delivers them as intuitive messages to help you now.

Whether your memories delight, inspire, sadden, or haunt you, notice when they suddenly pop into your awareness and when you ask the question: “Why am I remembering that?” A significant event occurs in your present life and the past returns with insights. For example, you intuitively see an outer vision show you watching a 1970’s movie that dramatizes a remedy for your health issue. Intuitively feel a pulling sensation that indicates a modish business opportunity offers a second chance resembling the one you overlooked six months ago. Intuitively hear your inner voice say, “Accepting that job brings more meaning and bonuses than the hectic position you held in 2006.” Intuitively know memories of a previous relationship reveal a new friend’s scandalous character. Intuitively taste an aunt’s spicy casserole that prepares you for her unexpected and unwelcomed visit. Intuitively smell an earlier vacation’s aromas that cause you to laugh away your stress. Intuitively speak, “Letting my dear sister borrow money unnerves me like the bitter night I lost hundreds gambling at a casino.” Intuitively sing, “I pay attention while driving and eating so I won’t crash into a pine tree like the intoxicated musician I watched on the TV news.”

Ancestral memories live in your genetic stream with your own memories. I intuitively dreamed I saw black and white pictures of known and unfamiliar family members; some died before my birth. I never saw those pictures in any relative’s photo album but realized they signaled more family history coming to me during my genealogical research.

Some memories belong to others but are accessible through your spiritual connection with everyone and everything. During a dream interpretation class, a friend’s husband said, “I have two brothers.” I intuitively saw an inner vision show his third brother’s face and playfulness—his memory surfaced. I asked him, “Where is your third brother?” He paused and then recalled that another brother had died at a young age.

When intuitive memories tap your consciousness, pay attention to how they apply in your life. Do reminiscences of a beloved high school teacher inspire you to obtain more education? Does a summoned kitchen accident warn you to watch out where you eat dinner? Does a memorized nursery rhyme remind you to be yourself no matter what people say? Even if you experience difficulties recalling certain life events, your intuition knows which memories to retrieve to guide and protect you.
