The astral body is also called the emotional body. It comprises the emotional world of each individual. It is connected with the astral plane but also interpenetrates both the physical and etheric body.
The Earth Herself has an astral body too. It includes all the feelings and emotions of all of humanity ranging from animalistic greed and violence to the most sublime emanations of love and devotion.
Clairvoyants sometimes can perceive these feelings taking on literal shape and color. However, most of us can feel energies too. Dr Joshua David Stone
