The idea of facing a challenge and feeling as though you are given a second chance develops because of your perspective. Too often, we look for external situations to be the reason we have a second chance, but what happens within your brain creates the feeling as though you can deal with this challenge again from a better part of you. If that is true; you have the power to create second chances independent of any external change.
For instance, relating to some people you love can cause amazing differences within your body. Knowing that it is your brain that creates every bodily experience, why does their influence affect you? The personal touch definitely goes beyond theory, but it is your interpretation that makes it so significant. In fact it is your interpretation that makes everything you experience significant. Now, what if you had the power to control your interpretation? That could be in relationships, health, work or any interaction with your world?
The part of you that interprets plays a major part in how the interpretation comes out, but you have the ability to control that. Even if your first interpretation is wrong, you can go back and reinterpret the situation. In the same way if you had a bad dream you can go back and re-dream it. If the body responds to the images in your mind, create the image that gives you the experience you want and that is what your body will respond to.
If you create a trigger to that positive experience and develop a habit in using it, saying that word or phrase will trigger the desired experience. You can use your subconscious mind to develop these triggers into habits . If, before you go to sleep and upon awakening ,you say your trigger and imagine the positive situation, then saying it again creates the image in your mind and your body responds to it. Before sleep and upon awakening, the doors to your subconscious are open, so you can plant that seed to create powerful habits .
It is common to consider the images in your mind illusions. They are not real; they only represent something. Even though your experience may be created by those illusions, there is experience not created by illusion. When you know that real experience and feel commited to it with your heart, you have a clear discrimination and can not be tricked by the illusions in your mind and those illusions become precious tools.
This clear discrimination is developed from having a simple love relationship where you love without the complications of ego. The true expression of your heart is not based on past conditioning, it springs from the moment without ego’s influence. It is not a product of any belief system. It is developed when the heart is loved in a pure and simple way. Ideas and beliefs can be added to that amazing phenomenon, but the miracle originates from simple love.
In Latin the word “believe” comes from the root of “to allow”. When your beliefs are harmonious with the essence of life, your belief allows it to manifest. Disharmonious beliefs allow for disharmony to develop. Education in Latin means “to draw out,” so with pure self-trust you draw out from that depth I call the Wisdom of the Body. When what is being taught is harmonious with that depth, what is thought and learned provides the perfect second chance perspective. If what you think is not harmonious, there will be no second chances. We have the responsibility to harmonize the creations of our mind in that quality. What you learn may not seem to be as important as your original harmony, but if you lose the beauty of that loving touch, second chances doesn’t exist in your life.
This may be the most important thing you control and it happens on the most subtle level. Don’t miss it for you may miss your second chance.
