This can be a problem for anyone who works in an office or similar environment where people eat at their desks. How do you stay healthy when others around you are chowing down on junk? There are a couple of tactics that can help.

Make sure you always have a supply of healthy snacks with you at work. Unsalted nuts, fruit (fresh or dried), or crudités (carrot sticks, celery etc) make good choices and are easy to keep at your desk. That way, when you are tempted, you have something healthy to munch on.
The other thing to do is not put yourself in difficult situations– if you know a certain person always has chocolates on their desk, avoid them. If there’s a group who always go to lunch at a fast food joint, either suggest a different location, or find a new lunch crew.
By avoiding your exposure to tempting foods and situations, and learning how to change the thoughts, habits and attitudes that undermine you, you can lose weight for free.
Last but not least, don’t EVER keep junk food in your house if you want to lose weight. You might as well throw your diet right out the window, as you will be teasing yourself constantly, and defeating your efforts.
