We’re living in an unprecedented day and age of prosperity, but there are dark clouds on the horizon. It’s time to get real with the facts.

You’re in a hurry. You don’t have time to go back to school to learn what you need to know about money. Your time is valuable, limited, and precious. The first seven minutes were the hardest part. My fingers hurt, and I wanted to go outside and play with my friends. But after just a few minutes, something special started to happen. I worked past the hard part, my attention was activated, and I just kept practicing, every day, no days off. What my teacher knew was that I had an attention span that would last thirty to forty minutes and that if he could get me through the first seven minutes, and if I did it every day, no days off, the rest would take care of itself—and it did. I developed the habit of daily applying myself to my goal, and I went on to become an excellent guitar player.
