Learning to control, manage and reduce your stress levels is a vital life skill and I think, the missing piece to living the life you want. I want to play any part I can in helping people to understand and learn stress management techniques.
I didn't always treat stress seriously. I initially explored my love of natural sciences and metabolism with a degree in biochemistry, which I followed with a positions in marketing, then an MBA and then a high pressure consultancy job.
In 1998, emergency major back surgery and the real risk of permanent paralysis made me appreciate that life is too precious to waste.
I retrained as a psychologist and developed interests in a range of personal development issues. But it wasn’t until I became a WAHM with twin sons, two rescue dogs and an online business that I became seriously interested in stress management.
Stress effects are seriously underrated. I have seen first hand the “gung-ho” macho attitude to it some large multinationals, partnerships, even small private consultancies have, which requires individuals to work under increasingly stressful conditions. Now, more than ever, it really is up to each individual to take stress management seriously - for the sake of their own health.
I regularly submit articles on stress management to the top online article directories all over the internet. If you would like to receive my free stress management e-course, simply send a blank email to losestresstips@aweber.com .
