“My spiritual journey began at six years old when I realized I was interested in the larger questions about life. Despite a fairly involved religious upbringing, I couldn’t seem to find satisfaction in the answers I was receiving; I always felt there was more to learn than just one school of thought.
I focused on reconciling the spiritual knowledge behind organized religions. I was attracted to the healers such as St. Francis or St. John because they had a deep sense of mysticism and a spiritual journey. They talked about the “dark night of the soul.” I was interested in their message, but also their transformational journey.
I attended Unity churches that welcomed all religions. Every new author would come and do a workshop, and I attended all of them. I did transformational courses with Landmark, workshops with Betty Ford, Stanislav Grof, Carolyn Myss, and was an active member of Noetic Science, among many others. I also studied psychology and psychiatry in college as I am equally intrigued by the science behind spirituality.
I realized that everyone had great points. The key was to put them together and to take it a step further. Information as information is great, but at times, information transforms our lives. If we want to continue to evolve and become consciously aware human beings, then it has to move beyond the idea. It has to become a practical and pragmatic guide to change our lives.
How do we get from here to there? I guess that was always my question and that is what is behind the creation of the Dolphin’s Dance Process.”
