Apple has a new patent app through the Patently Apple which could make it even easier to start with a new iOS device even before the gadget has been removed from the box. If this will be implemented, it could take the pain out of updates or upgrades and could make it even easier to expand the iOS environment with the newly acquired additions such as the Apple Watch or iPads.

Earlier, Apple APPL 0.81 percent released the iOS 8.2 upgrade following the Apple Watch event. The upgrade includes compatibility to the iWatch, HealthKit enhancements and various bug fixes. It is already a known fact that version 8.3 would include racially diverse emojis, an enhanced keyboard, wireless CarPlay features, two-factor Google GOOGL-1.16 percent authentication, Apple Pay for the Chinese market and additional seven more languages that are supported by Siri. Nonetheless, it was discovered recently that the 8.3 version would make downloading free applications and speakerphone calling easier.

The version 8.3 includes new password options in the iTunes & App Store settings. There would be a new menu that is called Password Settings that allows users to set up the number of times the firm must ask for one's iTunes store password. The menu indicates a 'require a password for additional purchases after making a purchase with the iTunes email address from the iTunes Store, iBooks store or App Store with the gadget. The Require Password feature was available already in previous iOS versions within the General Restrictions menu. Nonetheless, the choice for turning off the Required Password for free downloads is new. A password would be needed for paid applications even if a Required Password for free downloads feature is activated.

The giant phone maker's invention includes provisions for several power modes for the packaged product. This allows it to provide a thoroughly non-powered state, which is likely used for transporting from a factory to retail stores or for instance distribution centers and a low-power state, in which it could enable receiving inbound communication requests from the existing item of a user for setup, which prompts it to shift into a full-power mode. The patent goes further, talking about scenarios wherein the packaged product will transmit discovery messages occasionally in its lower power stage, probably based on a timer or else prompted by activity detected by the internal accelerometer. These may be utilized for pinging owned devices regarding the setup procedure as soon as the gadget is taken home.

It even goes further still, suggesting that the correspondence between two devices can first ascertain if the packaged gadget was actually first purchased, locking it from setup in instances when it determines if it has been stolen instead. It can use transmissions from a staff of a store to authorize it or pre-shipping authorization for an email address if mailed. The Patently Apple is quiet fascinating when it comes to potential impact and scope on the gadget and retail setup experience and was filed only in the third quarter of 2014, which means that it can still very easily make its way to production devices.

The release date of the smart watch does not happen for another month. Nevertheless, the iPhone firm is giving a head start to iPhone developers . Most third-party apps such as Evernote, Instagram and MLB At Bat have issued upgrades that would integrate support for the iWatch. However, the same as the iPhone, support from third-party developers could set its wrist wearable apart from Pebble, Android Wear and other smart watch market entrants. Moreover, almost a month ahead of the iWatch's launch, large brands have begun adding support for the device to their applications. Even though Twitter still does not support Android Wear with its application, it was one of the handful organizations today that released an upgrade to its application that adds support for the iWatch. The new device by the giant iPhone company would be available for purchase from $350 in nine countries starting April 24. The countries include Canada, Australia, France, China, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and the United States.

The battery of the device lasts a full day. There are more than a dozen watch-friendly iOS applications arriving on the App Store recently, which include several applications that likely target the markets in which the watch would first launch, like the application of Qantas, an Australian airline. Most likely, they are being released at present to enable people to prepare reviews of the iWatch to use third-party apps for the gadget. Still, others which have updated their applications for the iWatch include AliPay, Air Canada, Dark Sky, Babbel, Evernote, ECB Cricket, Kitchen Stories, Expedia, Procreate Pocket, Redfin, Sky Guide, Target, Things, SPG:Starwood Hotels and Resorts, WeChat, Yahoo Tourney Pick'Em, The Wall Street Journal, Runtastic Six Pack.

The rest would have to wait until April 24 to check out how the applications function, not unless some are on display at the App Store for the previews that will commence on April 10. The watch applications that are released today are just a small subset for the device to come. Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, NPR and several productivity , travel, fitness , smart home, automotive, entertainment, sports , shopping apps are also in the works. Although it is still not determined how popular the iWatch would ultimately be during its first year, there are a few surveys that suggest that it should sell in big enough numbers to deliver the phone maker as much as $32 billion in the first year or twelve months after its launch. Furthermore, a Reuters/Ipsos pool which was conducted earlier of March found that around forty percent of adult owners of iOS phone in the United States are enthusiastic on purchasing the iWatch. Another survey of 3,000 people all over the world found that it could fuel the number of Android users to switch to iOS.

In the meantime, another research earlier revealed that fifty percent of iPhone users, regardless of their region or country and the OS they are using currently, said they are strongly interested in the iWatch. This is potentially bad news for Google and Samsung in particular. Users or Android are more interested in the iWatch that iOS owners. Moreover, since the smart wearable depends on having a smart phone, the product can fuel the number of Android users to switch to an iPhone instead. In addition, it is probably not a coincidence that the organization chose April 10 to allow customers to try on the new device at an Apple Store, which date being the same as Samsung would start selling the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Furthermore, the giant iPhone company is also expected to launch a new Android trade-in program at its shops, once again timed to coincide with the launching of the new flagships of Samsung.

The applications on the smart wearable are intended to function as secondary applications aside from the ones that live on the phone. As a somewhat heads-up display, the device offers information about one's latest run, notifications that the user may want to know or an easy way of taking notes with no need to pull out the phone. The features of the gadget provide some very interesting uses for a wrist-wearable device.

Analysts claim that owners of Android are switching to iOS and thus, driving the firm's sales growth. It was determined from a survey that 25 percent of all iPhone sales come from those people who were switching from Android. With the iWatch poised for availability in just weeks, developers are not wasting any time getting apps for the device released. Arguably, the Apple Watch is the most anticipated wearable to date, as the company makes its first mark on the ever-competitive smart watch industry.

It was first unveiled alongside iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in September of last year. Moreover, the iPhone maker announced more details about the gadget during an event on March 9 of this year in San Francisco. During that event, the organization revealed pricing and date of release details for the iWatch for the first time, giving people a first glimpse of the wearable in action, and mentioned some of the third-party apps that would be available on the wearable gadget during the launching. In addition, the firm also has plans to revamp its shops and stores in time for the April 10 launch, when the device would be available to try out via pre-booked appointments. Apple also took the opportunity to unveil its first 12in MacBook, which is the lightest and thinnest laptop they have yet. The excitement felt by iPhone users and even Android users for the coming of the sm smart gadget is heightened by the nearness of the scheduled launching of one of the most high-tech devices created in the history of technological gadgets and tools. The wrist-wearable gadget will surely be a thing of interest by people from all walks of life, all over the world. However, since it requires having an iPhone in the first place, naturally the sales for the smart phone would soar high.
