UGC NET exam is conducted in two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II) consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and all questions are compulsory. The candidates who have cleared UGC NET as per the minimum qualifying marks, i.e., 40% for General and 35% for Reserved Category shall be declared ‘Pass’ in the UGC NET exam.The exam pattern for UGC NET will be objective-type and there will be two papers for each subject. Paper 1 consists of 50 MCQs and paper 2 consists of 100 MCQs. Students will be given three hours to finish the exam. The good news is that there will not be any negative marking.
