Thoughts belong in the ethereal world, which is why it is hard to capture them and write them down in an earth bound language. It is also why thought forms are strong and important. It is also why it is so hard to remember a thought in its entirety.

When the intuition instigates a thought, this is then taken over by the brain and turned into a language that the physical person can understand. During this process the previous experiences and learnt responses go to work to direct and modify the intuitions original concept and so the final thought that gains expression is no longer a work of the “spiritual” . It is now a work of the whole person. This thought then acts both within the physical world and triggers activity, and also travels to the ethereal. There it acts in accordance with the basic laws on creation. It joins together with other thoughts that are homogeneous to it. These thoughts gather strength from each other and then seek an individual who is also homogeneous and who is issuing similar thoughts. The strengthened thought form then becomes at one with this physical individual and seeks to become physical activity through them.
This can be for good, scientific “ inspiration ” being the ability of one individual to “tap into” those thoughts generated by many others and to interpret these into meaningful progress.
This process can also lead to evil activity. A weak individual gathers the smaller thoughts of say lust, that their individual creators had been able to control, and they then become overwhelmed by the strength of the entering thought form and commits acts that are unacceptable to society.

Getting back to the origination of thoughts themselves, though intuition starts the process and intuition is the communication system of the sprit, it needs the physical brain to bring the thought into the physical world. The physical brain is limited by its knowledge. The knowledge of the brain is limited by its experience. Experience that restricts. A child has fewer restrictions and so the thoughts that get expressed, are more intuitive.
The intuition is the language, or communicator, of the spirit and that it why it is so hard to define. The language and boundaries of definitions are earth bound, physical things while the spirit and intuition are not.
Can we learn to connect with out spirit and intuition? It is more a case of can we stop putting our earth bound experiences in the way of and in control of, the intuitive and spiritual, “meanings” to the thoughts that our spirit instigates.

Our brains also instigate thoughts but these are reaction thoughts and have no ethereal life. These are thoughts that occur in response to a physical earth bound event. When faced with an event or an argument or choice, then our earth bound physical brain has to instigate matching earth bound physical activities to react or act on this situation. These “reaction thoughts” are not of the same type as the creative intuition instigated thoughts.

The sprit and intuition can not, by themselves, directly cause physical action, or react to physical events. They have to operate through a connection that is linked to the physical. They connect through emotional responses and through the brain. These link the ethereal to the physical.

The two types of thought are, one, the intuitive which gets modified and controlled by the brain before becoming both action and an ethereal thought form and the second type is the reaction thought that is originated in the physical world and has no direct connection with the ethereal.

Our experiences in life do filter back to the spirit. In fact it is probable that the reason our sprit needs to inhabit a physical body, is in order to learn from experiences and so to grow into a more useful, to creation, entity.
Thus in one way a reactive thought may be indirectly connected to the spirit. If the reactive thoughts leads to an experience that enables the sprit to grow a little and learn a little.
The biggest problem for modern humans is that we have stopped the connecting pathway between the intuitive and the physical. This means we do not accept intuitive thoughts and so we close ourselves off from the benefit of good thought forms and we also prevent our sprit from gaining full benefit from our experiences. We may also close ourselves off from evil thought forms but this will be only a temporary effect. Evil thought forms can take a long time to gather huge numbers of homogeneous fellows and to be come so strong that they can over come our power to shut them out. Good and useful thought forms are not so plentiful and do not gather the same strength.
So this is why we need positive thinking , in the true meaning of that phrase.

Author's Bio:

Born 16/2/42 Educated at Technical High School and Colleges.
GCE (Maths Physics and English) ONC and NVQ qualifications in engineering and
Management.
Having trained as a technical engineer in electro magnetic motors I then spent many years studying, with the leading teachers of the time, holistic forms of health care. Including Shiatsu and Acupuncture. In the later part of this time I started to investigate the use of magnets as part of health care
I have treated thousands of patients using this experience and knowledge; I have worked in drug and alcohol abuse and at large private holistic clinics.
I worked in various industrial management roles including costing/ estimating and sales.
1983/4 studied Shiatsu at the East West Centre in London and continued studies with Harold Dull, Waturi Ohashi, Yamomoto etc
1984 to 1986 studied massage/ anatomy/ physiology/ acupuncture and homoeopathy with the Association of Natural Medicines.
1986 and on going started to study the effects of magnetism and energies in the human healing process.
All studies are on going, each treatment teaches a little more, each lecture and each conversation adds to the total stock of knowledge.
Was one of the earliest members of the Shiatsu Society in the UK and a founder member of the Suffolk and North Essex Shiatsu Association.
Organizer of the first East Anglian exhibitions of Natural Medicine
Co started the Green Lodge Centre for Integrated Medicines
Worked for 3 years at the Colchester Open Road drug and alcohol treatment centre the 3rd year as full time therapy co-ordinator
Taught Shiatsu at The Colchester Institute (a regional College of Anglian Polytechnic University)
Was an elected director of the Shiatsu Society for 2 years
Manager of Shiatsu International.
Now retired from providing treatments that incorporate Shiatsu, Acupressure, Magnet Therapy, Moxibustion and advice on herbal, flower and homoeopathic remedies.
I have developed an on line course of instruction in magnetic therapy
Author of books on the I Ching and Magnet Therapy ( The practical guide to magnet
therapy pub Godsfield Press and Magnet healing pub Time Life.) but now concentrating on the “on line magnetic therapy course” and working on other books
