I really can’t say where the fascination began, all I know is that for many years I’ve had an insatiable thirst for knowledge about the “Afterlife.” It is not a morbid preoccupation with death but rather a spiritual curiosity about the infinitive properties of life.

It is said that only the bravest souls choose to come to “Earth School,” a highly challenging realm where negativity exists. We all have the same ultimate, eternal goal: progression of our soul to perfection. The most progress is gained here in ”Earth School,” a place where we strive to achieve happiness that is contraposed by struggles. We all come here many times. Each lifetime brings a strategically planned goal, concealed to our conscious mind when we are born so that we may fulfill our contracted mission within the context of this life. The universal contract stipulates that we must fulfill our mission, live out a complete lifetime no matter how difficult life gets, or we will have to come back and face the same challenges again.

For those who do not share my unconventional interest, I’d like to point out that there is more than a substantial amount of research and evidence showing that when we die our souls leave our physical bodies on this Earth dimension and transition to life in another dimension. It has been characterized time and time again as a place of indescribable beauty , harmony, and love.

Personally, I don’t like to call this place “Heaven,” because Heaven is commonly depicted as a place where we grow wings, play harps, and float among the clouds. That is offputting to me; it sounds like an useless and awfully boring way to spend eternity. Based on everything I’ve read and studied, I believe that its portrayal could not be farther from the truth.

“The Other Side,” the name I use when referring to the place that we all inevitably cross over to is a place of scholarly learning and exponential spiritual growth . Unlike Earth, where our immeasurable spiritual growth is largely based on adversity, we live a peaceful life on ”The Other Side” surrounded by optimism, love, harmony, and acceptance.

Because ”Earth” and “The Other Side” are merely two different dimensions, a difficult concept for most of us to grasp, communication between those living on each side is possible. I have personally experienced this awe inspiring phenomenon on a few occasions. I am thoroughly convinced that our loved ones who have passed on are very much alive and spiritually accessable to us. Though we are divided by dimensions, we will be joyously reunited with our loved ones again when we leave Earth.

When we cross over, along with our outer-shell/body, we leave all earthly negativety like animosity, hatred, fear, judgement, and resentment behind. Our bodies that were once diseased, deformed, injured, emotionally challenged, or physically challenged become whole and perfect. We are very much alive and living, pursuing our interests, challenging our intellect, enjoying the beauty that surrounds us, and loving with the purity that exemplifies the authentic meaning of the word.

Death is not to be feared. It is not the end, just merely a transition.

We should acknowledge our loved ones who have left their earthly bodies but are still very much with us. We should live each day that we are here with purpose, passion , and perserverance. With the knowledge that we are all very brave souls commonly living a challenging earthly existence, we should treat each other with respect, kindness, and compassion.

Always remember that the good we do here goes with us through eternity.
