The last thing a person wants to do is to give up a fight. Why? Naturally, we are born fighters and survivor. But there are things in life that isn’t worth a fight. It’s not worth sticking your guts on, or clinging yourself to the point of exhaustion. Some may consider this view as rather odd, but as a person we must choose a fight that is worth every sweat of your glands or blood from your skin. Along the fight some stumbling blocks becomes our traffic signals. It’s either you stop and ponder then continue, or you go straight ahead and never pause for a thought. And the third which some don’t even consider is to go U-Turn. How do you give up a fight which you want to believe that you have the chance of winning?

Start by…Accept things that are not worth fighting anymore. It’s not worth fighting for because in the first place you have the wrong foot forward. Like a boxing match, for years you waited for this battle. You trained hard, exhausted all effort and even give up everything just to win this battle. On your way to the ring, your footwork made a wrong move making your every step painful. Yes you should not give up. But would you consider amputating your feet just to win this battle? After this fight, can you do another one? It’s difficult to accept defeat, but when you do you’ll understand that there is far greater fight worthier than this one. Accepting defeat is not failure because you have done your best. And this experience will lead you to a battle you are worth winning for.

Believe that…
You have another fight to conquer. And like the great example of Abraham Lincoln’s life, you can choose another fight. Leaving your job right now because you are no longer happy and productive as a person is a reality you have no control of. And believing that another great opportunity will come to you is a tell tale sign that your current job is not worth your fight. If the girl next door does not accept your invitation or proposals, try to think things through. If you really love her and her happiness does not come from you, let go of the fight. Believe that there is someone destined to be yours, and if she’s that someone then let time take the toll of fighting.

Then choose your next winning fight…
Champions of World Olympic game started from small and amateur games. Over time and years of hard work and perseverance they were able to step of the great Olympic Games. And every one of those players chooses when to embark their dreams . In a world of reality not all fights are yours. Remember your opponent has the same dreams as you have and that is to win. If you give up yours, it doesn’t mean you gave up your dream. You just choose a greater challenge that is worth your fight.
