Your subconscious mind is at work all the time, working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. While your conscious mind will shut down temporarily when you go to sleep, the subconscious mind will continue to work on, even while you are sleeping. You can understand and believe that the subconscious mind is awake and active while you sleep because you know for a fact that you dream. This is your subconscious mind at work.

In your dreams you can hear, see and even taste and touch and everything appears to be real. This would not be at all possible if your entire mind was completely shut off. There would be no activity.

This continuous process from your subconscious mind is a natural, but essential operation so that it can cater to all your basic energy requirements like keeping your heart, lungs, brain and other vital organs working away while you are sleeping.

Life can be extremely demanding at times with work, family and friends, and finding a few minutes for yourself to quietly focus on your desires, goals and dreams through visualisation can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. This is where the development of discipline comes in useful. It takes discipline to make the time for your visualisation exercises, and it is discipline that will take you beyond the excuses and into the habit of daily visualisation practice.

However…

On these too-busy occasions perhaps practicing your visualisation exercise just before you sleep is the solution? Well, as a matter of fact, there is no better time to manifest your goals and desires through visualisation than just before you sleep and in your sleep.

Just before sleep happens to be one of those perfect times to visualise your desires. By the way another great time is right after you wake.

So why is just before you sleep a perfect time?

Let me explain…

The conscious mind likes to provide some sort of structure to your thoughts and it does this by enforcing the laws of reason and its rationality and then uses its own limited information to pass a judgement on what is possible and what it thinks is not possible,

Therefore…It can be and is, much more difficult to convince the conscious mind to accept the feelings and emotions associated with you having achieved success and having a wealthy lifestyle because it has not been accustomed to it, yet. The conscious mind will always point out logical inconsistencies in the thoughts and reasons why not, and therefore, can at times hinder or put a damper on your progress for success and wealth.

However,

and this is why just before sleep is a perfect time…

There is great news:

The powerful subconscious mind does not interfere with your thoughts in the same way as your conscious mind. It does not enforce any structure, or reason or rationality, and it also, does not raise any objections on the content of your thoughts. It is ready to accept them and almost ready to believe them.

Therefore…

The visualisation effect that happens in the subconscious mind is many times more potent than the
visualisation you exercise at the conscious mind level.
