Have you ever had two thoughts about one situation? And were those thoughts both positive and negative? When I recently had such an opposing thought, it really started me thinking about how our thoughts impact our lives. Think about it, a few of the great universal laws ruling our wonderful planet say that you get back what you put out there. Your thoughts are what you become; treat others, as you would want to be treated. I can go on and on, attitude is everything, what you think, feel and believe, is what you will draw to you. All of these statements are said to be true.

I can tell you from my own personal experience, and from what I have seenAnd heard from others, that once you become aware of the fact that you control the way you react to and perceive a situation, you will then be in a much better place to create the movement towards the direction you would like it to go.

To give a quick example, I have a good friend who was recently laid off from a job in the financial industry. Instead of spending weeks and weeks in a negative flow of energy, he only spent a few days in that mode, and then picked himself up and started looking for another job in the same industry.

His though process shifted in those few days from, I can stay in this mind-space of negative, and just sit here and waddle in my unhappiness, or I can pick myself up and actively search out what I want for myself. I am very happy he chose to search out what he wanted. His essence is way to amazing to just sit and waddle.

Low and behold, three weeks later, he found a fabulous job in the same field he was just laid off from, and it was an hour less commute to and from his office, as well as much brighter surroundings, and great people to work with.

Now if he would have stayed with a negative outlook, he could have gone on that interview with underlying energetic negativity, and he may not have been offered the position. People can pick up on the energy you bring to their space, and if does not feel good, they will tend to not want to be around you. So again, I am happy he snapped out of it and got his positive flow back in a short time frame.

Remember the saying, A positive attitude can move you in the direction of success, and a negative attitude can just as easily move you in the direction of despair. The way you react to things is how your surroundings will be lived. If you walk around all day with the poor me syndrome, you will be busy, busy thinking about everything that can go wrong, and you will spend most your time focusing on the negative, and will exhaust yourself before you can begin thinking in a positive mode.

What you need to be doing is to focus on the positive, and begin to create ways to dig deep to find your positive thoughts, as well as your inner strength, and then using it to create a successful outcome. I can’t stress enough the importance of thinking and being aware of your thought pattern. Some people are so use to going straight to the negative, that most outcomes are not to their satisfaction. That is just not good enough for me, and it should not be good enough for you.

You have all the tools and all the power to think the way you choose, and that should be in a positive mode. Too much is at stake for you to settle for a natural negative flow.

If you find that you lean more towards the negative then the positive, there are a few simple things you can do to shift that attitude. The first thing to do is to become aware of the fact that you mostly think in a negative way. Next try to figure out how, and where that thinking pattern may have begun. If you cannot pinpoint exactly when flowing toward the negative began, it is no big deal, just start to now become conscious of shifting that thought process into a positive one. You can also start using daily affirmations stating such simple truths as “ I am great and happy, because that is the way I choose to be, and I will deal with all situations in a positive way.”

The winner does take it all in life. That is because they have the mindset and the vision of a winner. They will not settle for anything less, and neither should you. Everyone in this world can be a winner; it is his or her choice.
