When one looks towards the alternative media, they could still keep a critical eye; they are then not going to believe everything they hear. It could be said that this will be the sensible thing to do; after all, everyone has an agenda.

As they believe that the mainstream media lies to people and the alternative media tells the truth, it is to be expected that the will behave in this way. This will stop them from having to think for themselves, and this will save them a lot of energy.

One is then going to be an easy target without realising it, and it could be said that they might not be a lot better off than the people who follow the mainstream media. What it can do is to allow them to believe that they are better than the people who follow this source.
