Sharing Some Thoughts on Jesus

Submitter’s Note
These are some of the notes (in point form) from thoughts and quotations that
I’ve written down and collected over the years, which may be of interest and
get you “tinking” about these “airey-fairey matters”. Hope that these thoughts
may be helpful and perhaps even inspirational to you .
SHARING SOME THOUGHTS ON JESUS

Here are some of my notes and thoughts (in point form) that I've collected over
the years. Some are other authors viewpoints on the person that was/is Jesus
and I'll share with you. Enjoy...

" Faith is the light that guides you through the darkness."
- Emmet Fox

Christmas is not about religion or even presents. It's the birth of a baby born
2000 years ago. The quality of his life and teaching has never been surpassed.
He speaks into our society today: care for our neighbour, honour your parents,
and do what is right. We urgently need to teach these principles. It's about
Jesus Christ."

- Denis Shuker (as published in an extract from his letter to the editor in theHerald on Sunday, Auckland, New Zealand)

In Jesus's own life was the key of his nearness to God and that he expressed asno other could, the spirit and will of God.

Jesus's purpose was to seek and serve the lost (even till death )

"The full flower that is the hope of ALL mankind may be found in the figure andlife of Jesus."

"I am the light of the world."

It's not me doing it... but a Higher Power. I'm doing it through YOU. He movesmy spirit.

"My belief is in the God who gives us responsibility for our own actions, who
I see in Jesus Christ, who stated and showed in his own way of life that Hispurpose was to give quality of life."
- Michael Templer, Te Pahu

For me, Jesus is a model to aspire to, a hope to pin on, even to cling to.
Someone on which to pin our highest (supreme) characteristics, the loftiest
goals, cvalues and aspirations. , in short, the very best in life...the name
and spirit of Jesus Christ symbolizes endless possibilities...and each one of
us is invited to partake in and share His Infinite Spirit."

Jesus had the conquering spirit of a champion...

and so can YOU!

About the submitter:
In his various writings Craig strives in some small way to break down social,
cultural, religious and economic barriers through “planting, then sowing ideas
as ‘seeds of hope’”. He believes that whilst we should celebrate our
differences, what we share is way more important than what divides us.
Craig’s novels on South Africa that he “felt inspired to write” are available
at: http://www.creativekiwis.com/books.html#craig and www.lulu.com/craiglock
Craig is currently writing his novel, Stirling, a rewarding tale of faith, hope
and especially love
“Fiction, Faction”, or perhaps even a true story!!!!
