“Moses and Jesus teach the same story. Let it be of the soul you speak, let Spirit utter itself.” Scientific Mental Christian Practice – Emma Curtis Hopkins

“Today, I covenant with Spirit for my speech. I will do nothing for my wit and retorts, for my words are the words of the Holy Spirit.” 40 Days with Emma Curtis Hopkins – Rev. Dr. Kathianne

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” What a powerful proclamation! As a unique, individualized manifestation of God, I know my word is powerful; I know this of myself and I know this of everyone. I know my word can bring joy and a smile to someone’s face as easily as it can bring pain and unhappiness. I pause today and take a mental time out before I respond to anyone or anything. Even the fly buzzing around my head when I said “God would you go away”. Flies are annoying creatures to me however my word was for God to go away. I know and intend to be impeccable with my word. To really listen to what I say or think and to consciously be awake and aware of the words I am sending out into the whole. For me, peace begins in my heart and it begins by being present and responsible for the things I say and the things I think. I practice speaking less and listening more; not only to my fellow Beings but to the Higher Wisdom that speaks through me. I am grateful for knowing that the essence of my Truth is my connection to the power and presence of God within me. I am grateful for connecting to the center of my soul where unconditional love resides. I am grateful for the One Life that is God’s Life that is my Life right here and right now. I allow these words to settle into my soul and connect to the Oneness of the Divine. I let go, I let God and so it is
