It’s hard to judge which are the top dating app, it depends on what you actually looking for. Every app has different features and functions, even target audience.

Here's a list of things you should consider before deciding which app to use.

1. What kind of relationship are you looking for - Are you looking for serious relationship, casual meet up or simply just making new friends and connections

2. What Limitations - What limitation does the app have

3. Setting up process - How long does it take to sign up and setting up your profile

4. Privacy - How much control you have to counter spam

I've came up with the comparisons with all the dating apps features and functions that I've used previously like "Tinder", "Lucky" and "OK Cupid". All these comments are based on my own personal experiences in order not to sound like I'm selling for any of the app. I hope to give you a better understanding of all these app.

1. Style and target audience

Tinder: An easy and fun app to use. They are great because so many people use it and it's fun to flick through pics.

OK cupid: It’s more for people who are looking for serious relationship. It does offer a true social network feel, which lends itself to people spending more time looking at profiles than simply swiping or scrolling through them in microseconds.

Lucky: A sleek and classy app for the like-minded people looking for serious relationship & casual encounters.

2. Choices of subscription

Tinder: 100 likes per 12hr period for free. Purchase $2.99 per month to have unlimited likes. They offer Tinder Boost to push their profile to the top of the line for 30 minutes. Tinder Plus lets you take back your last swipe and allows you to change your location so you can drop a pin and connect with Tinder users anywhere else in the world. You’ll also get unlimited ‘yes’ swiping capabilities.

OK Cupid: You can have around 90 likes until stated "low on matches" but you can still go to search tab and scroll through profiles without any limitation. Paid subscription can see a full list of everyone who has liked you and who has read your message, a bigger mailbox with storage for 5,000 messages.

Lucky: Have no limit of swipe for basic account. Paid subscription can strike up a conversation with anyone even without a match, undo swipes and who viewed my profile.

3. Setting up

Tinder:

· Anyone with a Facebook account can sign up.

· Setting up basic info about you is pretty simple. Tinder linked your interests with your Facebook.

OK Cupid:

· Anyone with a Facebook account can sign up.

· For creating a profile in the app you're asked to answer 21 questions, which Ok Cupid’s algorithms will then crunch to show you your best matches

Lucky:

· Lucky is going for a very different approach. NO NEED any personal info to register.

· Setting up your profile doesn't take long as well, write down your byline and begin the swipe.

4. Privacy

Tinder: If both parties like each other, then conversation can begin.

OK Cupid: You can talk to anyone even without liking it.

Lucky : The same as Tinder but different from Tinder-style.

Conclusion

Overall, these apps have different key features and functions.

I hope all these helps you better when choosing a dating app that cater to your specific needs. If you want to know more about craigslist casual encounters, read this article: http://www.selfgrowth.com/articles/what-is-the-best-craigslist-personals...
