The all-time best-seller is the Bible and the prediction from Christ is “when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies…” in Luke 21:20. Most Jews and Christians think that was 70 AD, but Christ’s parable in Matthew 22:6,7 says the “remnant” get their city burned and 70 AD wasn’t the remnant, and the wedding of Matt 22 didn’t happen then.

Zechariah 14 is about the end-time ‘day of the Lord’ when “all nations” (not just Rome) are gathered against Jerusalem. This is the ‘heads up’ sign for a huge earthquake that initiates the end-times as seen in Joel 2:10,11; 1Thess 5:2,3; Rev 8:5,6.

Further interest comes from Edgar Cayce’s prediction of a major southern California earthquake some months after the eruption of Mt Etna which just occurred.

The 3rd event (which follows the earthquake in the above text) is economic collapse in Rev 8:7 where all green grass was burnt up, but the Bible likens grass to riches, ‘for as the flower of the grass, so shall the rich man fade.’ They’re not dead--they’re just not rich.

It will be bad for people who think of their money when they say, “In [this] God We Trust” That’s what happened when God “executed judgment” on Egypt. They worshipped the Nile and it turned to blood. They worshipped cattle and they got disease. Money is the god of this world, and rich men will weep and howl in the last days, James 5:1-3.
