IF you are looking for success . . . if you are hungry and thirsty and yearning for Happiness and Peace of mind, the message that Earl Nightingale brought back from his long journey and search is for you.

Earl Nightingale was one of the great educators of the twentieth century. He was born during the Great Depression and saw enormous poverty and suffering. All around him there was hunger, pain and misery. He became obsessed with finding the answer to wealth, success, and peace of mind. Surely there was an answer to the suffering and pain he saw everywhere. He began a great Search! He frequented the libraries and educational centres of that day. He listened to the voices of the wise and intelligent. He studied the literature and learning that was available. Slowly but surely he began to find an underlying message and theme in the religious, philosophical and psychological literature he was studying. In the verses of the Bible, in the sayings of Buddha, in the writings of Lao Tse, the message was clear and distinct. He marvelled that it took so long for him to find it. Maybe there was a reason why his eyes had been blinded. But now he could see clearly. Oh so clearly!

The answer was: “we become what we think about.”This was his Epiphany! He called it The Strangest Secret. “We become what we think about”. Strange because it wasn’t a secret at all, but rather a message he had read and heard over and over again. He recalled Ralph Waldo Emerson saying, “A man is what he thinks about all day long.” He remembered Dr. Norman Vincent Peale in his Sunday sermons emphasizing “. . . . . if you think in negative terms you will get negative results. If you think in positive terms you will achieve positive results . . . “ He thought of the words in the Bible, “As he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” No! It really was not a secret.

Earl Nightingale knew that multitudes of people had never really understood the message clearly. He knew that thousands were wandering on heedless of the great potential that lies within them. He knew that the great mass of mankind were controlled by their thoughts . . . . . . rather than being in control of their thoughts. Eventually, he put the words on tape and sold millions of copies. The Strangest Secret became so famous and demand increased so dramatically that the recording received a Gold Record. The only talk recording ever to receive a Gold Record.

If you are looking for success . . . if you are hungry and thirsty and yearning for Happiness and Peace of mind, the message that Earl Nightingale brought back from his long journey and search is for you. The first step towards success and true wealth is the understanding and acknowledgement that your thoughts are the tool that will bring a NEW DAY in your life.
