Watches are sold well in real shops especially for those luxury brands, but when we visit some e-business B2C websites, we can see some watches with brand name can be sold at a quite low price and the appearance is similar to the genuine famous brand watches.
Many factories can produce massive products which may change a brand name letter or just a little different from the real brand products. Then the products can be sold online, such products include watches, mobile phones etc.
If we say such products infringes intellectual property rights, but there is really small difference from the famous brand products.
Taobao has also removed 77 million products that infringe intellectual property rights (IPR) from its websites in the past two years.
Online shop customers should pay more attention to the brand products sold online if they just want good brand ones. But some consumer may prefer such knock-offs products due to the nice outlook close to the real ones and low price is also attractive.
