Water has already become a depleting resource, although it covers 70% of the earth. Seawater cannot be used for drinking purposes, and converting it into drinkable water is quite costly and still a new technology. So it can be said that the time when seawater will be drinkable is far in the future. This is why all the water that can be used for drinking purposes needs to be treated well. A lot of people all over the world depend upon packaged drinking water because municipal water can be quite unhealthy. People who drink municipal water can be prone to many types of water-borne diseases, so you must switch to  bottled water

However, the main problem that people face these days with packaged water is that the price is increasing every day. Because it is necessary to drink 6 liters of water every day per person, it can become quite hectic for a typical middle class working person to afford 6 liters of packaged water for every family member daily. However, you also have an alternative whereby you can process your water by purifying municipal water and even turn it into your brand. This means you have the option of drinking purified water and earning by selling the processed water. You will only need to get a license for your brand. But then, how do you process the municipal water and turn it into packaged drinking water? Here's what you need to do:

  1. Receiving and pretreatment

Firstly, you will need to find a source from where you can get your daily water. Municipal water is provided at specific times, so you need to be careful about the schedules. Collect as much water as you can, but ensure that it sustains you and your family for around a week because treating the water again will be quite hectic. It would help if you also made sure that the water you are collecting is of good quality and does not contain any foul smell. Next, you need to use activated carbon filtration, which will remove the chlorine and the trihalomethanes in the water generally added to municipal water. To make the water soft and more drinkable, you can use water softeners.

  1. Processing the water

Next, you need to demineralize the water to remove all the unwanted minerals present in your water. With the help of distillation or reverse osmosis, you can remove all the minerals. Then you will need to monitor the water and check the quality of the demineralized water. The next step is for people who want to add minerals to water to enhance the nutrition level of water. However, if you do not want to drink mineral  bottled water, you can simply avoid the re-mineralization process.

  1. Filtration of the water

The next step is to remove all the micro-particles that are present within the water. Micro-filters can remove particles that are about the size of 0.2 microns. This means that they can even remove microbiological contaminants that can cause water-borne diseases as well. Monitoring the filters is also essential, mainly when ultra-violet filtration occurs, as this disinfects the water. The ozone disinfection further disinfects the water using highly reactive oxygen, and then your water becomes completely drinkable.

  1. Taking care of packaging

The last thing that you need to do is bottle the water into a sanitized plastic glass of fiber-based bottles. You also have to make sure that the bottles are treated well before the water gets packaged. You should also remove any packaging defect and make sure that your processing unit and water quality are top-level. Now you can really use your  bottled water, drink it, and even sell it after getting a license.

These tips will indeed create the foreground for water purification and sale. You can make sure that you are drinking and selling purified water.
