STAIRS starts organizing camps for selection of U-17 and U-14 teams
• Football trial camps will be conducted in 4-zones in Delhi
• 8 teams per zone will be selected- 4 for U-14 and 4 for U-17
• More than 10,000 School children will participate in SSFL 2
• Over 100 champions will be produced and mentored
• SSFL 2 will witness 30 all girls team
• SSFL aligns itself with the FIFA rules of football for boys and girls between 14-17 years of age.
• STAIRS - has kick started STAIRS School Football League (SSFL)-2 by organizing Football Trial Camps in Delhi. These camps will be conducted in four zones in Delhi in a phased manner, for the purpose of selection of total 8 teams per zone- 4 teams of U-17 and 4 teams of U-14 players.
• STAIRS is organizing a total of 12 football trial camps. These camps are divided zone wise into East, South, North-West and North Delhi. Post selection in the trial camps, a final selection camp, will be held in each zone.
• “These camps will prove to be talent tapping opportunity for us. We observe the players carefully and ensure that their talent wins recognition by participating in the biggest football extravaganza of 2015- the SSFL2. It will be wonderful to see the talent of the youngsters being recognized and to give them that one chance. The camps have been divided into zones so that the maximum area in the region is covered, and every school and every child get the opportunity to participate. The idea is that every enthusiastic child gets an equal opportunity to play in the league", said Mr. Siddhartha Upadhyay, Founder & Secretary General, STAIRS.
• The U-14 team will consist of players born in the year 2002 (on or after 1st January, 2002). The U-17 team will comprise of players born in the year 1999 (On or after 1st January, 1999).
SSFL-2 will be packed with more vigor and punch. Country’s biggest school level football extravaganza- the STAIRS SFL 2 is set to be bigger and better with an expected participation of more than 10,000 school children from Delhi/NCR.
