Everyone is in search of God. We all want to know about God.
Where is God? Who is God? Have you ever asked those questions? You may have heard of Him referred to as a higher power or the man up there who runs the world. Is He really the man up there who runs this world? Param Pujya Dadashri gives us a simple answer to this question, “God is in every creature, whether visible or invisible.”
God is in the form of energy in all living beings. There are infinite life forms that cannot be seen even through a microscope. God resides even in those. Therefore, we have to make a constant effort never to hurt any living being because God is within them.

We say that God did not listen to my prayer when something did not go our way. Pujya Dadashri explains the existence of God through a simple example, “If you mail a letter without addressing it correctly, whom will it reach? Look at the one within. God is within you and nowhere else.”

People refer to Him as the man up there. However, God is within us, within all living beings, all creatures whether they are visible or not and not in man-made creation. Param Pujya Dadashri made this discovery whilst learning about the lowest common multiple in his mathematics class. Just as you can find the smallest indivisible number that is common in all numbers, he deduced that everyone, like these numbers, has God within them in an indivisible form.

We question, why does God let injustice happen? Why does He let violence happen? Why does He not put an end to people’s miseries? If something good happens, we believe it is the doing of God, and similarly if something bad happens, then we blame God. Does God really run this world? Why would He let injustice, unhappiness, violence and such events happen?

Pujya Dadashri explains that, “God can never be the doer of anything. If God were the doer, then He would bind karma and therefore He would have to suffer the consequences of those karmas. If God too is subject to bondage of karma, then how can we call him God? Then what difference would there be between you and God?”If God did run this world, then would this world not be perfect? There would be no inequality. A person would not be sleeping in a palace while another is sleeping on a pavement. There would be no injustice. Yet that is the case. Almost every day there is injustice happening, whether we are aware of it or not.

As stated by Pujya Dadashri, “This world is run by only scientific circumstantial evidences; no individual entity is running it.” Consider this; how many evidences are needed to make a cup of tea? You need tea bags, sugar, kettle to boil water and even the right time to make tea. Many evidences need to come together for just one cup of tea.So why would God create a world where even a single person is unhappy? If God did create this world, everyone would be happy. There would be no poverty, no violence, no miseries, and no natural calamities. It would be a perfect world. However, that is not the case…
