Imbalance of kapha causes accumulation of toxins in the body, these toxins gets accumulated in the Medovahi Srotas (fat passage) that leads to increase in the production of medha dahtus (fat tissues) which directly increase the body weight. It is known as Sthaulya or Meda rog in Ayurveda .

According to Ayurveda, our body weight is associated with disturbance of body constitution and doshas.   • lemon is one of the most useful ingredient for weight loss, it helps to improve digestion and helps to detoxify the body. It helps to remove toxins that can slow down your metabolism.

How to consume?

  • Mix lemon juice (three teaspoons), honey (one teaspoon) in one glass of warm water. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. Do this daily for at least three months.
    Alternatively, you can simply have a cup of warm water mixed with a teaspoon of lemon juice and consume it in the morning, empty stomach.

GREEN TEA:

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR:

  • It is another popular home remedy to reduce excess weight. It helps to breakdown fat and hence prevents the accumulation of body fat.

How to consume?

  • Mix two teaspoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. Drink it daily in the morning before meals.
