Every human being will face stressful times. That is not a question. Today I have some personal development training on how you can develop your resilience.

Being resilient means that you are able to bounce back from defeat or setbacks. Bad things may happen in life, but rather than regretting what you did, it is better to learn from your mistakes. You are bound to make mistakes in life, but how will you react to them? That is what really counts.

To start off this personal development training, I would like to suggest that you learn to speak to yourself with positive affirmations . Positive affirmations can shape a person’s character and even help him or her in his career. Let me give you an example. There is an athlete who practices this, and he is very successful in his career. He is in fact one of the top athletes in his industry. You can start off by looking yourself in the mirror every day and speaking good things about yourself.

I also want to point out that you should affirm yourself as often as you can and not just when you hit crunch time. That ensures that you have a proper foundation. Having said that, whenever you hit crunch time, you should all the more be affirming yourself. The mistake happened. So what? Can you go back in time and prevent that from happening? No. Can you look back at it and see it as a learning experience? Yes. I will admit though. It takes courage to do that, but isn’t it better than simply wallowing in regret?

Truth be told, the real battle happens in the mind. How successful you become in life all starts with what seeds you allow to take root in your subconscious mind. If you entertain negative thoughts, chances are, you will not be successful in life. Be careful of what you listen to. See yourself as a successful man or woman in life, no matter what circumstances you are facing right now.

Before I end off my personal development training, I would like to talk about how to react when you face a setback. Do not condemn yourself whenever you fall. Adversities in life are meant to make us stronger. More specifically though, it is our resilience that will strengthen us and make us winners in life.

I hope you have learnt something new from this personal development training and discussion. Remember to never condemn yourself, but always remember that you are a success in life, and bounce back from defeat!
