There are some days when we feel like nothing really significant happened. We go through the motions of the day and go to bed at night thinking how tired we are but not really realizing how great the day has been. We wake up the next day feeling like we wasted a day; however, we need to stop and think about our day and how well we were provided for.

There are many types of providers. There are those who work for a living to provide for their families . There are companies who provide services to customers in need. There are stores who provide products of all shapes and sized which are there for us when we need or want them. If we didn’t have providers in the world, we would be without many things.

However, there is one Provider who sometimes gets overlooked. Our Provider gives us things all day long that we don’t always notice. Our Provider who gives us life is the most important provider. God is our Provider of all things. Although man makes things, God makes man and there would be nothing without God.

Philippians 4:19 “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”

When we wake up in the mornings, we do need to think about what God has done for us. He has given us a new day. He has helped us through the night. He provided for us all day yesterday to have food, clothing and shelter. He gave us opportunities to help others and be a witness for Him. What do we do in return for all of His generosity?

We need to go through the day remembering God and all He does for us. We need to be more aware of what God has provided for us here on earth. We need to really focus on the beauty of the day, the blessings we have to spend time with friends and family and the opportunities we have to praise God for all He does.

God also provides us opportunities when we struggle. Sometimes when we are hurting or having hard times, we wonder if God is really there and why it is happening to us. God is there. He will provide us with the answers we need to handle the situations we face. We only need to call on Him and have faith in Him to give us the answer without taking matters into our own hands. If we believe and wait for His reply, He will show us a way out.

1 Corinthians 10:13 “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”

God not only provides us with food and the things we need to live on earth, He provides us with answers to our problems. He is our complete Provider of all things. We should remember Him in all we do understanding He will give us what we need whether it is food, shelter, answers or opportunities to serve. When we recognized God is all we need, we will be able to allow Him to work through us and make a difference.
