I have been a organic gardener now for over 30 years and I am more then tickled organic gardening is taking off as it is in 2012! At one time it really was not so popular as it is now. Some of us remember those days and had to trip over our own feet learning for ourselves or by other like minded people on how to keep our indoor and outdoor gardens happy , healthy and to keep most of our food crops for ourselves to eat!

I do not mind sharing my food with the other souls of nature, at first I was just happy to have some left for myself and my family to enjoy. Of course now I have learned much more then I had known back then. Still learning all the time!!

Many people are growing herbs and food in there apartments and around there homes these days making it nice to eat healthy with fresh home grown food for them and their families. Some of us even give our organic products away to neighbors and friends and some folks even sale their produce and herbs all organically grown to the public at such places as Farmers Markets that can be found all across the USA and other countries.

One thing I have notice is the "Organic" labeling of products to help us on our quest as organic gardeners.

I so want to emphasize that just because a product is labeled "organic", this does not mean it can not make some of us, our skin break out or it wont burn the leaves of your plant or it wont change the dynamics of our organic garden.

When nature is taken and broken down within a lab it changes the stability of whatever is being worked on from nature. So, say this flowering plant has a compound in it that tends to kill pests. The scientists take this flowering plant, separate and break the compounds down they want, rebuilt these compounds into liquid form for us to use. Just because this liquid product was from a flowering plant at one time, does not mean it will not make our skin break out or if we do not mix it well enough that it is good for our organic plants.

These products are on the market to help us, we need to do our part in thinking why we became Organic Gardeners in the first place. Personally I am very sensitive to chemicals, with this said I started out growing organically because of this fact that I could not hide from. Thus, Organic Gardening has always been for me personally and I have used some of these products that are out on the market today.

Just keep in mind, nature is her own creation. We have educated people out there doing what they can for society , however nature has never been good about doing what she is told to do by us humans.

Keep in mind, this is my own thoughts and opinions. I am not indorsing, selling or promoting anything.

Author's Bio:

Hello I am Mrsroadrunner,

The name Mrsroadrunner actually started over the car, the 383 original engine, the 4 barrel carb. and the posy back end, the roadrunner we had was a fun car! I really am not much into cars, I just was around the old American muscle cars and listen. I enjoy learning about everything. Then the name morphed into much more!!

I am a Wildlife and Nature photographer based out of my home state of Oregon. Along with my photography skills, I enjoy writing, gardening, environmental issues, alternative medicine, and I am a disabled American.

Traveling in my younger days I had picked up many experiences. Along with traveling, I worked large and small ranches and farms, manufacturing jobs and my own "exotic" farm and rescue as well as many jobs to just get by. A professor I had in my short time of higher education once told me to write you need experiences to write about, so I went out and got these experiences!!

Being a wildlife and nature photographer I find myself in remote places and in situations I would not be in if it was not for that photograph I just have to have!! I push myself to places I may think twice if, like I said it was not for that photograph!

I am opinionated and my opinions are all my own. I give these opinions away, but leave enough for myself to keep!

You can find me all over the web and I do have several bios out there, I winged this bio just for this site and may update, change or add things later. I do not push my books, calendars , photographs or anything else I have for sale. Just not my style.

Thank you for coming by Coralie
