Yes, the country of India has been a country of spirituality

These Enlightened Souls are in no ways different from the realized Souls of the past; for the enlightened Pure Soul within them or the great Souls that existed in the past are of the same quality. In that sense, they are all one!
However, a realized person or the Enlightened One, who is living today holds a special and the greatest significance in our life, as He is our Spiritual Master who can lead us all to liberation.
Importance of the Living Spiritual Master
Only a realized person who is living and present for us can take us to liberation because He is there to guide us and show us the right path.
We often make mistakes that we are not even aware of. In such a situation, the One who is present can give us direct directives and instructions (aadesh) and also, He can give us direct knowledge (updesh) to pull us out of those mistakes. The Living Enlightened One is the guiding light with the help of whom we are not only able to realize our mistakes, but can also understand them in depth and rightly persevere to bring an end to each of the mistakes.
Therefore, for us, He is a living Spiritual Master, being our primary instrument to attain permanent freedom!
The Soul is completely manifested within him, and therefore, the inner veils of ignorance hindering our Soul start collapsing just by a mere look in his eyes! The divine spiritual powers within him help us tread on the spiritual path much more easily, without any difficulty!
Like how a lit candle can light other candles, an Enlightened One can enlighten others’ Souls and put us on the path to eternal freedom! Such is the wonder of the Living Enlightened One, a Living Spiritual Master.

Who is the Living Enlightened One?
His name is Pujya Deepakbhai Desai!
He attained Self-Realization in 1971. Ever since, following his relentless and sincere spiritual efforts, he has crossed several milestones on the spiritual path and his experience of the Soul has greatly sharpened.
Today, He’s the epitome of purity, sincerity and pure love!
He’s free from all worldly physical and mental conflicts that entail sufferings to a common person. Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifested within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able to help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him.
