How to Setup a Wireless Video HDMI Video Transmitter and Receiver

Here’s how to set up ScreenBeam’s MyWirelessTV2 wireless video HDMI kit:

The Transmitter and Receiver included in MyWirelessTV2 look nearly identical. They are labeled so you’ll know which is which. We’ll start with the Transmitter. First, power off the source device, which is your set-top box or other media player. Next, connect the Transmitter to your media player using one of the short HDMI cables included in the kit. Next connect the Transmitter to the included power adapter and plug it in. Finally power on the media player, and make sure the “power light” on the Transmitter turns solid green.

Next, you will set up the Receiver. First, plug the other short HDMI cable into your TV and the other end into the Receiver port that says “Out-to-TV.” Then connect the power adapter to the Receiver and plug it in. Check that the green “power light” on the Receiver turns solid green.

Turn on your TV and select the input source that matches the HDMI port you used for the Receiver. Wait a couple of minutes for the LINK light on the Receiver to turn SOLID green.

You also have the option of setting up IR control so that you can use your existing remote control.
