SEO is a technique to rank your sites either locally or internationally. But in this article, I’m going to discuss what is local SEO and how to do link building for local SEO.

In this SEO, we are basically trying to rank our site or keywords in a particular region. For example, if our products or services are only for the German people then we only want to rank it in Germany and not in any other country because this will be useless. Well, here I’m not going in depth of this, but I’ll cover some of the basic stuff.

If you want to rank in Germany then you have to buy a domain with .de TLD and you also have to take a server in Germany. This is the most basic stuff which everyone must do who is doing local or German SEO .

After doing this, you’ll have to write high-quality articles and then have to optimize them for particular keywords for which you want to rank.

If you are selling services, then add them to your homepage with some amazing media rich content. The more appealing content you have the more the chances you have for getting sales.

Also, don’t forget to create important pages for your site like about us, contact us, privacy policy and disclaimer.

Off-Page SEO

In this part comes the link building. Building offline authority is also very important and without it, it is almost impossible to rank on Google (exceptions are there).

As we are talking about Germany so we have to get German Backlinks from German Websites which are truly relevant in your niche and are of high quality.

Some of the best link building techniques are, guest posting, blog commenting, social media sharing, social bookmarking etc...
