Author's Bio:

Og Mandino struggled as a life insurance salesman after World War II. Already in deep debt, his wife and daughter left him after he developed a drinking problem. Og started making visits to the public library, reading books on success and motivation. His drinking gradually subsided. Og was so impressed with the work and success philosophy of W. Clement Stone, that he got a job as a salesman at Stone’s insurance company and was promoted within a year.

Og soon became editor of Stone’s magazine, Success Unlimited. After writing a piece about golf for the magazine, a New York publisher sent him a letter about possibly publishing a book if he were to write one. The Greatest Salesman in the World was soon published and became a bestseller. Thousands of people have openly credited Og with saving or changing their lives.
