I was listening to an audio from the Healing with the Masters series ( http://www.healingwiththemasters.com/audio.htm ) by this guy John Assaraf whom I have never heard of before. I was multi-tasking and didn't hear every word he said, but this question he posed to the listeners called out loudly to me.

"Are you interested or are you committed?"

Basically, he says a lot of people are interested in becoming rich, successful, happy, etc.... but not many people are committed enough to do the work necessary to achieve those goals.

That got me thinking because these few months, I have been paying the price of being complacent in my business, and that is to have my income dwindle to an uncomfortable level. I certainly have the reasons (or excuses) to justify my behaviour, but if I were to be honest with myself, I was simply not COMMITTING myself to my goal of offering my services in a way that would empower more people to achieve their maximum potential in life.

In fact, ask me the typical coaching question, "So how much do you want to make, within how long a period, through what means..." and I would respond by looking back at you with a blank face.

Oops...

It is not that I don't know what I want, but it's that I don't want it enough to overcome the fears or procrastination that is within me. Basically, I was interested in helping people and becoming wealthy through helping people. But I wasn't committed.

Perhaps it was thus a blessing in disguise that I was very much drawn to attend an expensive training course in Hong Kong. I'm already quite broke from attending this recent Psychotherapy Conference in US that I just got back from, and I had no idea how I was going to afford the Hong Kong course. But I have been eyeing this course for such a long time, I knew that I simply had to go.

So I asked my heart, "How am I going to get the money?", secretly hoping that I would be given a magical number to buy 4D with, or the name of some rich person that I could take a loan from.

Thus, it was a little anti-climatic when the soft but firm reply came: "Earn it yourself."

Whaaaattt?? And how am I supposed to earn $3K in a month's time?

Well, this was definitely an opportunity for me to put my knowledge into practice. I tapped, visualised, affirmed, and bascially did everything I knew to shift my vibrations to attract the clients and money I needed.

In this case, I was not just interested in attending the course. I was COMMITTED. 100%, with every cell in my being saying... YES!!!

Guess what? My phone has been ringing, and I have been getting enquiries over email.I have a record number of bookings for private consultations in the next few days, and I am getting closer to reaching my goal every day.

It's not so much what I did to achieve this goal, but that inner determination and dedication, which sent out a strong and clear message to the universe. "I AM going to make it happen!" And the universe always pays attention, and respond to us accordingly.

Of course, I did take necessary action as well, but frankly, it was not much. That is why I believe that while action is important, ultimately it is the power of our thoughts and the size of our intention that create our reality.

The double blessing is that now I know what I am capable of earning, so long as I am committed to my business.

So take some time to ask yourself what is it that you have always wanted. A fulfilling love relationship? A job that is spiritually satisfying and pays well at the same time? Having a lean and trim figure?

And now ask yourself...are you merely interested in getting it as in "Oh, it would be nice to have that..."

Or are you COMMITTED? As in "By hook or by crook, it's going to happen!"

As long as every single cell in your being is shouting out, "Yes Yes YESSS!", I have absolutely no doubt that that goal of yours is going to become reality. It's just a matter of when.

With that said, it is common for us to be ambivalent about the things we want. Yes we want it, but no we don't want it as well. Maybe it takes too much hard work. Maybe it means letting go of old habits . Maybe it means getting judged by others around you. Look deep within yourself and ask yourself, what fears or negative beliefs do you have that keep you from moving from being interested to being COMMITTED.

Here's the tapping exercise for today so that you can get to a 100% commitment to achieving your goals:

Even though I am not fully committed to achieving this goal because deep within, I am afraid state your fear, I am willing to release all limiting beliefs that are keeping me stuck and look at this issue from a higher perspective, so that I may move into greater transformation within and without.

With commitment, EVERYTHING is possible!
