It has been said that we have two life timelines.

1. The chronological timeline2. The quality of life timeline

Often, the quality of life ends 10 – 15 years sooner than the chronological. For many people the last 10 – 15 years is filled with sickness, disease, arthritis , and cancer.

There is scientific evidence that a plant based lifestyle gives a much higher quality of life to those who are committed to this way of life.

Personally, I want the quality and chronological timeline to be the same amount of time.Giving Up to Get So Much More

If it means giving up certain foods to do so, I’m willing to do that.

The illusion many people live with is that you can have your cake and eat it too and not pay the consequences of poor food choices.

We can piss and moan and groan about what we are giving up, or embrace all we will be given by eating a whole food, plant based diet .
Digging Her Heels In

Years ago, a family member was told by her doctor she needed to give up meat to reverse several health conditions including gout.

Her response, “I would rather die than give up meat.”

Her health condition today is that she is morbidly obese, has many health conditions and blames outside factors for why this is so. She is NOT willing to take personal responsibility for her condition. The Power Is Ours

We can either give our power away, or empower ourselves to live the highest quality of life possible.

We have so much more power than we often admit. And in making changes, we can play the victim or become the victor.

The daily choices we make create the quality of life we experience. What are the choices you are making?
