7 Do's and Don'ts for Financial Success:

1. Take Action Now:
Who doesn't want to be successful?
We are not always aware that there are certain things that prevent us from achieving success.
How come some people are successful and others not? Successful people know what the do's and don'ts are. You too can tap into these secrets. It's easier than you think and the best part is it won't cost you a cent.
Your success lies in your own hands and the time to take action is NOW!
2. Don't Let Fear Hold You Back:
FEAR: Our biggest emotional stumbling block. Fear can paralyze you - it also prevents you from doing certain things. You must not let fear control your life. The choice is yours. If you want to be successful you need to overcome your fear. Ask yourself this question: "What would I do if I were not afraid?" Think about it: If there was no fear what would you have already achieved? You need to face these fears head-on. In order to face them you need to define them. Fear comes in many forms. Most important is how you use your fear and what you do to overcome it.
Say you want to start your own business.
Different fear factors:
* Scared of what your family and friends will think.
* Being turned down when applying for a loan.
These are just a few of many fears. These are the kind of fears that arise from "Fear of Failure." Before you even start you already stop.
Henry Ford was not afraid - he assembled the automobile, - if he was afraid or feared to achieve his goal ( or even struggled to overcome his fear of failure) - where would we have been today? Henry Ford's father wanted him to run their family farm. If he had been too afraid to say no - would we have had the automobiles? You need to conquer fear by replacing your negative thoughts and all negative emotion with positive ones.
Which is greater? Your desire to succeed ?
Or your fear of failure?
"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." Robert F. Kennedy
3. Don't plan too much:
The key to anything is moderation. This may sound funny to you, but planning is a huge optical for many people. People spend too much time planning and they never actually do anything other than plan. Then they plan for the perfect time to take action or for a perfect partner or anything else that they think will make the opportunity better or perfect.
Most people don't realize that nothing ever goes perfect and hardly anything ever goes according to plan. Successful people don't like to think or plan too much - they rather take action. Whatever you want to achieve in live, REMEMBER: Planning is important, BUT starting is MORE important.
4. Don't be afraid to ask:
Many people don't ask for what they want because they are being too polite, scared of being refused. Don't want to create a stir. ( or whatever reason.)
If you think of it - asking does not cost a cent. You also don't lose anything by asking - and you'll be surprised by the results. If you give it a try you will either get the answer or still be stuck sheer you were before asking.
Ghandi said: "If you don't ask, you don't get."
Try once asking and see the results: ask for: * a raise
* discount
* time off
whatever it might be (Just try it.)
5. Don't let rejection get you down:
Just because you get a no does not mean everything has to end there. My personal experience is: Every NO is one closer to a YES.
No's are part of the process that we call "life." Take a look at successful people - they did not allow rejection to ruin their dream and goals. It does not mean if one person doesn't like what you have to offer everybody is going to feel this way. Did you know? Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper company because he "lacked imagination ." a number of his businesses also failed and went bankrupt. His plan to build a theme park were also rejected initially and today it is located at the same spot it was rejected. Then the lack of imagination well, I don't see any of that at Disney Land. The cartoons are also a huge success and each and every one of them needed imagination to be created. I repeat do yourself a favour: make this your motto: Every no is one closer to a YES!
6. Don't give up:
Giving up is just out of the question. Everybody goes through rough times as some stage of their lives. Don't give up and don't ever stop believing in yourself. Don't see every failure as a fault. See it as a stepping stone or a step on the ladder leading to the top or success.
7. Get ahead:
If you want to be successful you need to go out and make it happen. Success does not come walking your way or fall into your lap. It takes 3 things: HARD WORK
DEDICATION
DETERMINATION.
There are a few things you can do to help you get ahead.
A. Don't limit yourself - in other words the sky is the limit. NO DREAM IS TOO BIG!
You need to visualise and believe it's possible to achieve it. Your brain actually interprets doing something and just visualising it in exact the same manner. In other words it sees no difference.
"What you think is what you get."
B. Always act as if you are already the successful person you want to be. Change your mindset !
C. Stay motivated ! You don't stay clean by bathing once a month - you won't stay motivated by getting motivated once a month. I suggest you sign up to a daily motivating service or inspirational program or site. It does not have to cost you anything to get motivated daily.
D. Take Risks: Take risks, success is not reserved for a few lucky ones.
God beyond your comfort zone and achieve what you are longing for.

CONCLUSION: Remember success doesn't just appear overnight. Success is there for whoever wants it. You just have to reach out and grab it. Believe in yourself, don't give up, be persistent, don't be afraid.
Compare it: How long will you give your child to walk? a week, 6 months, a year?NO =As long as it takes !
Keep going it's only a matter of time.
