Today, I want to make things easy for you. (Actually, I want to make things easy for you everyday. That’s my job!) I know how much you must have going on right now, so I’m sharing 20 easy-to-swallow tips for leading your business to success in 2016.

1. Never stop learning and investing in yourself if you want people who work for you to do the same.

2. Take care of yourself. If your cup isn’t full, you have nothing to pour into others.

3. Celebrate your own wins. Celebrate your teams’ wins even more.

4. Strive for creativity in everything you do. You’re in the best position to be creative and make creativity a priority.

5. Follow your instincts when it’s time to make tough decisions. Your gut usually knows the right answer.

6. Be comfortable getting uncomfortable. Step out of your comfort zone

7. Make your own path, even when everyone is telling you it’s wrong.

8. The right people are everything – as collaborators, team members, clients, and everyone else.

9. You set the standard for productivity on your team whether you like it or not.

10. Don’t wait for permission. Put your hand in the air and take the opportunities you want.

11. Set your boundaries and stick with them. No one else will do it for you.

12. If you’re not really excited by something, move on. Your time is way too valuable for “just okay.”

13. When you’re stressed, nothing will make you feel better except doing the hard work.

14. Step away from the computer. Think. Then decide.

15. Try to make generosity and curiosity a part of every single thing you do.

16. It doesn’t need to be perfect to ship it. Get it out there and then use feedback to inform changes.

17. Embrace who you are, flaws and all. That’s what’s going to attract the right people to you.

18. Being on the right track doesn’t always feel easy at the time. Keep going.

19. Ask for what you want. How else will you get it?

20. You’re doing the best you can and that’s pretty great, so give yourself a break.
