Sonya’s current affiliations are with WEEN(Women Entertainment Empowerment Network), where she was named Women of the Week. NABFEM(National Association of Black Female Executives in Music & Entertainment, Inc) and Femmixx(An organization for Female Hip-Hop Producers). Sonya steadfastly continues to cover new territory. She is responsible for scouting and A&R duties for several major record labels. In Sonya’s affiliations with A&R Music 1, she is able to keep singers, songwriters and producers in contact with executives and decision-makers in various genres of music, such as Hip Hop, R&B, Pop and Rock. Because of this genre mix, Rite 1 is one of the most diverse companies existing today.

Also a music producer/songwriter, Sonya began her career with Virgin Records/SoulPower Records. During this venture, Sonya worked alongside Platinum producer’s Soulshockand Karlin, who have produced three, number one R&B singles: Monica's-Before You Walk Out My Life, Whitney Houston's-Heartbreak Hotel, Fantasia's-Truth Isand JoJo's number one Pop single-Leave (Get Out). Other artist productions include:  Mary J Blige, Destiny's Child, Usher, Brandy, Tu-Pac, and the Pussy Cat Dolls. Sonya worked with Heather Hunter’srap project along with producer Scott Storch, Timbaland, and DJ Premiere. This project featured Bubba Sparxxxand Petey Pablo as well as Dante T. Chestnut Sr., founder of Don Alesante Music Group (DAMG), Music Powers I-Media. Her newest project is Rap Artist A.G. who currently on the Top Hot Billboard Single Sales Charts, with the single “We Fly,” featuring Bizzy Bone of Bone, Thugz and Harmony. Also finishing up collaborations with LeToya Luckett, releasing his next single “Can You Be My Lover,” Sonya’s repertoire is extensive and unfinished. Working with many big name celebrities and executives, Sonya is the name most requested to successfully launch their new projects and is responsible for directing and implementing valued assets of key industry figures.

Currently, Rite 1 has developed affiliations with All In Music Group(A.I.M) working alongside producer Chemist, who has worked with the famous Studio 7303located in Houston,Texas and credits with the likes of P. Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, Destiny's Child, Paul Wall, Camillionaireand Manny Fresh. Recent affiliations include: Uplifted Awareness, Management Firm and Starlett TV Models, BMI, and Universal.

Ms. Pru maintains acute business acumen and as a result, attracts business-minded counterparts. Sonya continues to increase demanded services, without compromising the quality of her work.
