Linda Bowers, MA LPC is a Certified EMDR Psychotherapist, Approved EMDR Consultant, and the Southern Arizona Regional Coordinator for the EMDR International Association. She also co-chairs the EMDR and Medical Illness Special Interest Group (SIG). Linda has 18 years of counseling experience and has been an EMDR practitiioner since 2000. She augments her private practice, which focuses on PTSD, Acute Stress Disorders and Trauma Resolution, with work for the Veterans Administration and various Employee Assistance Programs. She is the past Program Director for Substance Abuse Services at Jewish Family & Children's Service and a frequent presenter at their Institute of Continuing Education. Linda was an Intensive Outpatient Therapist at Westcenter, Tucson General Hospital, where she coordinated the Aftercare Program and developed the Women's program. She volunteers for HAP (The EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program) and provides Consultation to newly trained EMDR Therapists.
