For over a year through my business, The Ari | af | ya Universe , I have developed how to communicate through Twitter, Facebook Fan Pages, Ning networks and BlogTalkRadio major social media connections.
Doing health care online is different that the traditional web 1.0 systems. We have advanced immensely. Sharing accurate stories, in a communities is risky because your information can be publicly broadcast and found by anyone, especially those with either workplace hostility and criminal intent. Consumer protections and security cannot keep up with the ever-increasing in social media technology. Then with the small applications (APPS and API's), bits of private information is dessiminated.
The Ari | af | ya Universe as the premier online social media mental health & wellness resource support group for diverse women, strongly supports security, confidentiality and privacy on the internet. The "Isle sancturary" is a "safe-free-zone" where information is as protected as it can possibly be on the web, with hopeful aspirations for 2 badges, Health on the Net and WiredTrust for their rules on health information and decreasing "cyberbullying".
Even I have been the target of "cyberbullying" by nefarious people in social media sites. And while I have developed a thick skin, very few scientific studies are dedicated to the psychological underpinning to end ADULT cyberbullying.
The techniques I have learned through my training as a health and wellness coach, has helped me "talk down" an escalated situation, even mentally ill crises and allowed to me to share professionally licensed resources to affected persons. The next step is to have outcome tracking that is well within the means of all websites through analytics and marketing.
