Whether we term it divine Will, synchronicity, coherence, quantum entanglement, cause and effect, dependent origination, karma, or the law of attraction (or any other terminology), there remains a truth that the specific time, place and circumstance we occupy in the world is due to a stream of energy interacting with other streams in a coordinated pattern that carries out the intention of the universal manifestation.
For the practitioner of integral yoga, who, by definition, is focused on receiving the higher spiritual forces and transforming his life and his expression in the outer world to the divine intention, the intensity and one-pointedness of the focus creates a link that allows these higher forces to manifest. The individual becomes a nexus for that transformative action. Thus, as the evolutionary process requires old patterns and habits to either be thrown off or modified, they will necessarily be put before the individual, to the extent and in the way that he can begin to address them. Not every individual gets the same set of tasks or has the same activity. The nexus brings the right issues to the person who is meant to act upon them. This implies that each such individual has, in principle, the necessary capacity to address those very difficulties or concerns with which he is faced.
The Mother observes: “Be absolutely convinced that everything that happens, happens in order to give us precisely the lesson we needed, and if we are sincere in the ‘sadhana’, the lesson should be accepted with joy and gratitude.”
“Difficulties are always blessings if we know how to face them.”
