I know this might sound rather over ambitious, but I'm here to try to start a revolution (my other job is as a history teacher....go figure), not the kind we're used to, full of strife and ego, a very different kind of revolution indeed.

I have survived addiction and grown beyond anything I thought possible, I have learned extraordinary insights into my mind, my world, my spirit and now I am here to share what I know and heal the plague of our time; addiction and fear.

I see ordinary people bear the brunt of this illness and I think the time has come to spread a recovery revolution to those who can't see any way out of the lives they have. All revolutions from Prometheus to Che Guevara started with a revolution in the head, a change in thinking and a belief that 'it doesn't have to be like this'.

I believe that when problems reach a critical mass solutions spring from the heart of them like daisies, and addiction has reached its critical mass in our time. I am dedicated to creating one small part of the massive change in peoples attitudes, ideas and actions that I believe is coming. My weapon of choice is here. 

I would dearly love to talk to all kindred spirits in the recovery movement and am really eager to share ideas, strategies, approaches, stories and laughter.
