Jed has coached executives, managers, teams and entrepreneurs to produce performance breakthroughs for twenty-seven years. A skillful program deliverer and developer, he has led courses and workshops in personal effectiveness, communication, leadership, coaching and time transformation for over 100,000 people in the US, Canada, Europe, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Venezuela & Australia. Jed is Sr.-V.P. and co-founder of Eagle’s View Consulting, an international coaching & management consultancy. Jed’s consulting and coaching career has included work in the mining, energy, manufacturing, insurance, forest products, computer and healthcare industries. Jed has successfully managed projects involving a wide range of large-scale change methodologies including Rapid Work Re-Design, high-impact work teams and process reengineering.
Some of the results Jed’s clients have achieved include:
· A major oilfield supplier redesigned its core processes through five Reengineering Teams, saving $9 million in the first year.· Co-designed and implemented an innovative marketing and business structure for a Florida-based Estate Planning firm, offering legal and insurance services. This start-up organization ranked #1 in sales representing the eleventh largest US life insurance company their first and second years in existence.· Co-trained and coached joint union/management project teams in a British Columbia forest products company, dramatically reducing costs and increasing productivity.· Trained 5 internal consultants for Fortune 100 insurance company who facilitated teams who produced dramatic improvements in cost reduction and profits.
After college graduation, Jed entered the life insurance business, and became a million dollar producer his first year. At age 24 he was appointed the youngest-ever agency manager for Provident Mutual Life leading he and his associates to win that company’s President’s Trophy. After eight successful years of insurance agency building, he joined an international training and development company where he led and developed programs while managing 43 program leaders.
Jed earned a B.A. in Communications and Advertising from the University of Washington in Seattle as well as a CLU degree from The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He served as a Second Lieutenant and pilot, in the US Army Transportation Corps. Jed is invited frequently to lead executive education programs and serve as a keynote speaker. He is an accredited Insights Discovery practitioner, ICS-CONNECT facilitator, and certified Birkman consultant. Jed is a Life Member of CoachLab International - Society of Professional Coaches , serving on the Advisory Board. Jed lives in Kingwood, Texas where he lives with his wife & enjoys running, bicycling, roller-blading, golf, cartooning, and travel. He is a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Montgomery County Youth Mentoring Program.
