Carrie’s personal mission as a professional health and wellness coach is to help you achieve your goals/desires, to help you take charge of your life, to restore happiness and personal satisfaction, and to see you have SUCCESS in every area of your life. Carrie has always been passionate about health and wellness issues as a registered nurse for 19 years. She has gained so much insight from her patients and clients in the pursuit to help them with their physical and spiritual needs that she ended up growing spiritually, as well as professionally. As a nurse Carrie loved helping her patients achieve optimal wellness and that included the spiritual aspects of patient care as part of holistic health and healing. That type of “quality” in medical professionals today can be hard to find.
It is Carrie’s belief that a human being is not just a physical body, nor just a personality. A human being is half physical and half spiritual; hence, the term “human being”. The spiritual part of a person is so directly linked with the physical body you simply can not have one without the other. It has been a personal passion of Carrie’s to dig deeper and explore other than what her medical experience has taught her about life, the human body, and how it all works. Carrie started her journey to self-growth in pursuit of finding how spiritual “dis-ease” and physical disease affect each other 15 years ago. Carrie personally suffered from panic attacks and anxiety after the death of her newborn daughter. Carrie had spiritual “dis-ease” and physical symptoms that affected her so deeply that she new she had to find the connection between the two for the sake of others as well as herself. Carrie has discovered the way to have personal success and wellbeing by promoting a healthy lifestyle in ones physical and spiritual being. She has researched and personally used all of the tools that she now provides for her clients who follow Carrie's coaching programs. The clarity she has received from her personal passion has moved her out of the medical arena and into a love of health and wellness coaching. The prevention of disease and the promotion of wellness and making it a permanent part of your life is so empowering. Bringing more joy and happiness into your life by setting goals, developing a strategic plan for carrying out those goals, while having supportive measures in place (a health coach), it naturally follows that you will have personal success; in any area of your life. It is natural for you to be in a state of wellness both spiritually and physically, that is the way the true “you” is supposed to live. Spiritual dis-ease (stress), and physical disease (symptoms of, or chronic illness) can interrupt the normal healthy, happy you! It is a personal desire of Carrie’s to help others find happiness and satisfaction in all areas of their life, to be physically fit and spiritually stress free! Everyone has goals and desires, or something they want to accomplish. Carrie believes that people "know what they should be doing, but often have difficulty reaching their goals". Carrie encourages her clients to discover and clarify their goals, how to overcome any obstacle, and sees them through to success. She would also like to bridge the gap between health care professionals and patients by integrating physical and spiritual well-being as a form of alternative healthcare. The development of “awareness” of the physical/spiritual connection (educating both patients and medical professionals) would change how healthcare is administered in the United States. If physical and spiritual wellness was promoted our healthcare system would not be so overwhelmed with patients; not to mention financially overwhelmed. Instead, it has been Carrie's nursing experience that has allowed her to see that most people do not know that there is a physical and spiritual connection taking place inside them, nor how to care for it.
During Carrie’s nursing career she has had the opportunity to coach and mentor student and graduate nurses, mentor and coach co-workers, support her clients/patients on an outpatient basis, and to develop and teach community based classes. Carrie holds a A.S. degree in Nursing, B.S. degree in Healthcare Administration, is a Legal Nurse Consultant, and a Professional health and wellness coach. Carrie currently is the owner of her own coaching practice, Creative Changes LLC, and is a member of a host of coaching affiliated organizations. She has just finished her first E-book, and loves to write articles on the physical/spiritual aspects of self-growth, and your health and wellness.

"Be the change you want to see in this world"~Ghandi
I have always loved self-improvement and have been studying it for at least ten years. While practicing as an RN I have really examined what it means to be a human being. The "human" is our physical side, and the "being" is our spiritual side, connect them together and you have one magnificent, wise, understanding, and creative creature by design. The capacity we have inside ourselves supercedes our thoughts about our capabilities. To survive in this world is just not enough, we were born to be "thrivers", why should we settle for anything less? At any time we need help, we need only look around and call on others, and our higher power. Our journey here is based on our ability to learn to thrive, some is given, the rest is learned. Fear of the unknown is one of our biggest obstacles for becoming thrivers. I believe my purpose is to help others overcome obstacles that allow our "thriver" to remain hidden. I have spent the better part of my career learning about how intricate the physical/spiritual connection is and its effects on your health and wellbeing.
I want to help others become thrivers by educating them on the importance of being healthy physically and spiritually. I currently mentor, motivate, and educate clients on well-being in my coaching practice. My focus is to help my clients make healthy lifestyle changes by eating healthier, exercising, reducing stress, setting goals, developing successful strategies, developing accountability, and most importantly, obtaining personal success in every area of their life. I have overcome my own obstacle of fear and panic and I am currently putting years of my research into a book that will be completed shortly. In the meantime if you would like to know more about me visit me at my website www.changesnme.com to learn about my programs and tools that help you reach a state of ultimate well-being.
