After an earlier career in Medical sales,
Brad joined The Prudential in 1983. He furthered his training
by taking additional courses in Personal Lines, Business Insurance and
Financial Planning, earning the LUTCF - Fellowship designation from
the Life Underwriters Training Council.

In 1995, Brad became an independent agent
helping clients develop their insurance and financial plans in addition
to medical benefits. Adding employee benefits through Aflac New
York, he recently changed his producers contract to broker with his
former manager. Brad is presently helping self employed, small business
owners create a predictable income they can not outlive.

Brad also markets merchant account processing
of Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express through North AmericanBancard. At the same time, he coordinates with other financial professionals
to provide services that are needed through being the Bretcor Wealth Advisors Director of Marketing & Training.

On a personal note, Brad is a Past President of the Smithtown-Hauppauge
Kiwanis Club which allowed him to be involved with many charities and
community service projects. Brad holds a BS from The Citadel in Charleston
South Carolina, and did graduate work at Hofstra University. He is also
a decorated Vietnam War Veteran

Her next project is a special concert by children with Autusm ... Today is February 8th and I'm heading for the concert ...

The concert was fantastic ... what I learned was that along with their disabilities, many of these children (and then adults) are more handicaped by their inability to communicate. Many of them have brilliant minds ... along with the ability to adapt and compensate ...

The featured palyer of the concert was 19 year old Brittany Maier ...

When she was 7 or 8, she appeared to respond to music and her parents gave her a small keyboard and tried to "teach" her to pick out some elementary songs. Nothing happened at that time. Her Dad is a music lover and would buy a new album every Tuesday and Brittney would ride in thecar with him with the new album playing.

One day some very excited teachers called the Maiers and told them to get down to the school ... that something very exciting was happening. When they arrived, the teachers took them to a room where Brittanny was playing song after song on the piano. At first she only uesed two fingers but now she plays with the middle three fingers of both hands! Brittany is blind, autistic, mentally disabled, and yet is one of the most gifted savant pianists in the world.

She was amazing because she can play thousands of songs ... anything she ever heard ... it was sweet to hear her sing along and probably her favorite thing is applause ... She not only got applause but had the whole audience standing around her and her electric piano singing along with song after song.

Brittany and her parents have created an organization to help provide music and music instruction to al people with disabilities.
