I have a 15 year career that spans several industries including advertising, public relations, marketing, publishing, branding and copywriting. A former freelance writer for several editorial clients including Vanity Fair, Self, Health and Marie Claire magazines, I also co-founded and developed a publication that was successfully sold to Fairchild, the publishers of Women’s Wear Daily. Additionally, I worked for Saks Fifth Avenue.com and Bloomingdales, New York where I was the Senior Copywriter in the fashion department.
I was also a former Associate Creative Director for G2, a branding agency and a division of Grey Worldwide Advertising, working on such accounts as Olive Garden, New York State Lottery and British American Tobacco.
For the past seven years I have been Founder, CEO and President of Divine Diamonds.com, a jewelry website. I successfully created the first and only diamond ring designed and marketed to single women -- The Ah Ring. A, for available and h, for happy, it's the diamond ring you buy for yourself when you are single, and wear on your pinkie. After The Ah Ring appeared in the March, 2001 issue of O, Oprah's magazine, on the O List, sales skyrocketed.
