Norwich Life Coach, Morgan Wyche, is an authority on Gwynfyd Thinking. She has worked with Rape Crisis and the Blind Association in England and established Gwynapnudd.com to offer the self life coaching service, Gwynfyd Thinking, a method of challenging held perspectives in order to change thoughts and related behaviours.
Gwynfyd, an ancient British term for bliss, describes the concept that awreness could only be achieved through thinking in different perspectives. As developing awareness is as much a personal requirement today as it was in the past, Morgan began to expand the concept of Gwynfyd in the 90’s and in 2010 brought it to the attention of a growing interested public. Morgan believes Gwynfyd Thinking can be used by anyone and in her own practice has found Gwynfyd Thinking supportive of other counselling methods, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, NLP and Person Centred Therapy.
To demonstrate the methodology of Gwynfyd Thinking, Morgan uses an ancient British hero, Gwyn ap Nudd, as a role model. Once known as Britain’s ancient title for the star constellation Orion, Gwyn ap Nudd’s twelve other associated titles present him as an effective example of how an altered self-perspective can generate new reflective behaviour. Applied as a programme for self-development, Gwynfyd Thinking helps students reflect on Gwyn ap Nudd's meanings in order to identify their own.
Morgan has diplomas in life coaching and administration and specialises in teaching Gwynfyd Thinking - see www.gwynapnudd.com .
