Joan Jacobs
is a holistic healer with 25 years experience as clinical healer, educator, speaker and author.
Joan teaches at the faculty of health sciences, the Leo and Matilda Recanati school of community health professions at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, and has held senior teaching and program coordinating positions at leading schools of complementary medicine in Israel. She teaches certification Bach Flower trainings
and has personally trained numerous clinical practitioners.
Joan developed and instructed Holistic Breast Cancer Recovery Programs at the Soroka University Medical Center, Israel.
Joan has also developed unique applications of Holistic approaches in the field of interpersonal relationships in the work place. She has worked with the staffs and personnel of some of Israel's leading companies, hospitals and educational institutions
Joan teaches courses in women's empowerment and health and has also developed and instructed programs for substance abuse addicts and prison inmates.
In 2010 she created an international healing and personal transformation workshop program called The Light Within and published her first book titled Messages from the Soul- A Holistic Approach To Healing.
Joan is former host of the successful international online radio talk show "The Light Within- Awakening The Inner Healer" on VoiceAmerica.
In summer of 2012 Joan launched The Light Within Community Webiste with the goal to create a world-wide online communty dedicated to promoting holistic health and healing from the inside out.

The Bach Flower Comprehensive Study Program
Bach Flower Therapy originated with Dr. Edward Bach’s (England 1930-1936) research and clinical work which demonstrated direct correlation between personality and disease. Inspired by a spiritual approach to the source of disease and by Homeopathic theory and healing, he developed an extremely accurate and comprehensive system of personality identification and healing using gentle homeopathically- made plant remedies. These remedies address emotional, mental and behavioral patterns associated with specific personality types at the level of their core energy vibration and as such facilitate physical healing.
