Being organized is the first step in achieving any of your goals. One of the most exciting parts of my work is for a client or audience member to see an immediate increase in productivity using some of the easy-to-implement tools that I present to them. How many jobs can allow you to see results so quickly?
As the owner of Key Organization Systems, I have been privileged to be a guest on the NBC Nightly News as their Productivity Expert and write regular columns for several magazines and newsletters. My work includes speaking, training, authoring, and consulting in the areas of time management and effective work flow as well as being a hands-on business organizer.
My background includes a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Services from Boston University, and I have spent the last nine years working with companies and individuals in the areas of organizing and effective work flow to better manage time, paper, email, and space.
Being organized means being ready for any opportunity--or prepared for any emergency. It is not about having everything neat and pretty although that is usually a positive side effect.
When you schedule time to "get organized" you will quickly gain back those hours that you spend on getting systems in place, and then you will be more productively for the rest of the year(s).
Take the time to learn some of the simple tools and techniques that can give you control of your paper, email, time, and space.
On my website at www.KeyOrganization.com , you can find my most recent articles on ways to manage paper, email, time, and space, as well as see some of the "Time Lost" and "Time Found" photo examples from consulting clients. I also have a blog at www.ProductivityToday.com which follows current trends in the field of organizing and time management.
