When you ask a toddler this question, "What would you like to be when you grow up?" With a child-like confidence they would blurt out and say, "I want to be a Lawyer, theater actress, doctor, painter, supermodel, superstar, etc". Follow that question with "What would you want to have?" And no doubt they can answer just the same.

For a toddler who dreams to become a theater actress, the next thing you'll see her enrolling in a voice lesson and stage workshops. That toddler will patiently discipline herself to learn the skill so as to achieve her dream.

But try to ask a grown up the same questions and what you'll get is a smirk. If not all, most stops dreaming, as they grow older. Sad to know that they see dreaming as fantasy and they will even discourage others that still dreams . They focus too much on the negative realities of life that all they do is complain with how messed up their life is. And just as they think that way, their reality gets even worse.

I've seen that the greatest ignorance of humanity is the power of their thoughts. Not all grown-ups know how powerful it can be that's why they live their lives complaining on every single circumstance. The more they complain direct them to feel bad that's why their life gets harder.

As they see life as a struggle, they'd start to think that dreaming is baloney, which leads their life to nowhere.I'm a CPA by profession but studying and observing behaviors is one of my past times, and as I've observed, the difference between successful and unsuccessful people are these two things:

1. Thoughts/mindset;
2. Dreams .

Successful people carefully focus on their thoughts and dreams for they are aware of the great impact it creates in their life while unsuccessful people rarely mind its existence. They wake up and end their day doing the same old routine, rarely find time to study and enhance their skills for they don't even have dreams in mind. They let life just pass by then wake up one day feeling lost and burden for they don't know where they are and where they're heading.

Now, ask yourself, are you that same grown-up?

For a final note, I'd leave this quote from T.Harv Eker, author of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind:

Most people don't get what they want because they don't know what they want.
